Cookie Notice

Essential storage and your optional marketing choices.

1. Essential cookies

The service uses an essential session cookie named locke_graves_session. It keeps a signed-in user authenticated and is removed when the browser session ends or you sign out. The public Demo also uses the functional lg_demo_visitor cookie, containing a random technical identifier. It lets the browser resume the Demo and supports a browser-based play limit and abuse prevention; it is not an account identity. These cookies are necessary to provide their respective features.

The essential lg_marketing_choice cookie stores a random reference to your cookie choice for 180 days. It is host-only, so test and production choices are separate. It is set when you make a choice, including when you reject marketing, and is not sent to Meta.

2. Local browser storage

The game also uses local browser storage to keep a room-player token on your device and session storage to remember whether you have seen a demo briefing. The installable app may use a service-worker cache to make its application shell available offline. These are functional technologies, not advertising trackers.

3. Optional Meta marketing tracking

Where marketing tracking is enabled, we ask before loading Meta Pixel or sending purchase events through Meta Conversions API. Fredborg Interactive and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited use these events to measure advertising and personalise ads on Facebook and Instagram. Pixel runs on the public sales page, not account, payment-return or gameplay pages. It can set _fbp (browser identifier) and _fbc (ad-click identifier), each for up to 90 days. These identifiers and information about your browser and page visit are shared with Meta after consent. We disable automatic event detection.

When you buy with marketing consent, a server event reports a Stripe-confirmed purchase, its product identifier, value and currency. It may include the cookie identifiers, IP address, browser information and a hashed email address for matching. This server processing follows the same choice as Pixel. See our Privacy Notice and Meta's Privacy Policy, including recipients and international transfers. No optional tracking runs when the integration is disabled.

4. Your choices

Accept or reject marketing in the initial banner. Both choices leave the game and purchases available. Use at any time to change your choice. Rejecting clears our Meta cookies and stops future browser and unsent server events for that browser. We ask again after 180 days or a change to the consent notice. Clearing the choice cookie also means we ask again; to withdraw an existing choice and its pending purchase events, use Cookie settings before clearing site data. Account acknowledgements are not marketing consent.

Blocking essential cookies or clearing local storage can prevent sign-in, invitations, or game progress from working correctly. You can manage cookies and site data through your browser settings. For questions, contact kontakt@fredborg-interactive.com.
