1. When AI is used
AI is used to generate fictional character replies, answer I.R.I.S. record requests, and respond to a case presentation. You are interacting with an AI system, not a real person or authority.
2. What is sent
When you use an AI feature, the submitted question or argument, relevant in-game conversation history, and the fictional case context are sent from our server to OpenRouter, which routes the request to the configured DeepSeek model. Your game messages and AI replies are also stored in the case record so that both detectives can continue the shared investigation.
3. Privacy controls
Our integration requests routing that does not collect inputs for training and only uses zero-data-retention AI endpoints. OpenRouter may still retain limited request metadata such as time, model, token count, and latency. Do not enter personal, confidential, health, financial, or other sensitive information into an AI field.
4. No training by us
Fredborg Interactive does not use player prompts or AI replies to train AI models. We do not enable prompt or completion logging in our OpenRouter integration. If the privacy-preserving route is unavailable, the AI request fails rather than being sent through a less private route.
5. Limitations
AI can make mistakes, misunderstand a question, or produce incomplete output. It is a game mechanic only. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, safety, or other real-world decisions.
